The PGA Merchandise Show came to an end just a few short days ago. Lots of interesting cool things on display.  The Big Question!  "How will the new tech gadgets and equipment upgrades effect golfers this season?"

I'm interested in hearing your thoughts!  "Does it really work or is it a lot of hype?"

Let me know your thoughts below.

Thanks,

Ted

    1. There were a few noticeable things that caught my eye this year.

First, there were approximately 8-10 simulators from various manufacturers, each offering different perspectives and feedback.

Next, there was around 15-19 CBD suppliers, which was interesting. Many offering the claim that CBD products have pain relief properties. There were a lot of creams and ointments etc. I didn't try any, but found it to be an interesting approach.

There was the usual equipment companies with the latest and greatest in driver & iron technology. Some pretty cool stuff, but take it from me who has taught golf for over 25 years. If you can't swing the club effectively, no technology will increase distance or accuracy as claimed.

With a price tag of $400-$650 USD for a new driver. My suggestion! Spend the money on some good quality lessons, your old clubs will do just fine for now. Treat yourself down the road, when you can really hit the sweetspot.

Good luck this season, and thank you for your comment.

      Ted
